The testing facilities on the Metrel MI3152 make it suitable for all manner of electrical contractors. It is capable of testing continuity on inductive loads (7mA) and R1 R2 or R2 (200mA) as well as insulation resistance with test voltages from 50V to 1000V DC.Loop and line impedance testing are also possible and various types of RCDs can be tested (general, selective, type AC, A, F, B, and B ). Finally, measurement functions include leakage current, TRMS voltage, phase rotation, frequency, and light/lux levels (ideal for checking emergency lighting).
