ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Arm/Hand Elevation Sling is used to hold the left or right hand on or above the level of the heart to help reduce swelling and minimize pain. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? The Sling is designed to be used after hand or similar operations. The hand section is made wider to give more space for a swollen or bandaged hand. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Thread the padded velour strap through the plastic D-Ring at the elbow end of the Sling with the Hook Tape tab on the outside. Place the arm in the Sling – make sure the elbow is fully back in the Sling. Take the strap across the back and over the opposite shoulder. Thread the strap through the two plastic D-Rings, starting from the inside D-Ring closest to the chest, to the D-Ring on the outside of the Sling. Adjust to size so that the hand is on or above the heart, then fasten the Hook Tape tab to the shoulder strap. The Miracle Grip rubber helps to stop the Sling from slipping down the chest, but if it does slip, reposition the Sling. PRODUCT MATERIALS Air-mesh Material, Velour, Foam, Hook Tape.
