ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Pillow – Adjustable Trisection is designed to enable people to position themselves higher up a Reflux Wedge. Using a standard sized pillow with a Reflux Wedge can sometimes lead to a person not being able to position themselves high enough on the Wedge, which reduces its effectiveness in preventing reflux. A standard pillow will tend to force the head to far forward, with the chin going towards the chest, or bend the neck if you are sideling. The three sections can have different amounts of filling for individual people. The Hollow-Core Polyester Fiber filling has many benefits, including being able to adjust or remove some of the fiber. It is non-allergenic and is soft and cool next to the head. Outer Covers are available from the drop-down menu, to use as a pillowcase. A normal pillowcase can also be used over the Pillow – Adjustable Trisection. The Outer Cover does not come with filling. If you are using any brand of Reflux Wedge, consider the Non-Slide Bed Pad, to help prevent sliding down the bed. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? The Pillow – Adjustable Trisection is suitable for people using a Reflux Wedge and adjustable bed. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT The filling is supplied in a separate bag, so the user can fill the three sections to individual requirements. The zip runs along the long edge of the Pillow to make adjusting the filling easier. For people sleeping on their back, less filling is needed in the middle section, but more filling is needed when sleeping on their side. Experiment with the amount of filling and adjust as necessary.
