ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Denim Back Brace is designed to give good support for the back with additional lumbar support. The narrow front design is best for bending or digging. The wide front design is best for leaning or stretching. Inside the Brace are foam ‘bones’ that are permanently sewn in position to prevent them from moving and digging into the body. These bones do not have to be removed when washing. The Back Brace should only be worn when doing work that is likely to cause strain and pain. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? The Comfort Back Brace is suitable for anyone who needs lower back support, either for pain, comfort or to wear while doing strenuous work. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Ensure the elastic straps are loose and put the Brace on with the middle of the belt centered over the spine at the affected area. Hold the two central pieces of elastic and pull them forward simultaneously and secure them with the Hook & Loop Tape section to the main belt. Pulling loops are sewn in position to help people pull with their thumbs if they cannot grip the elastic. Next, hold the two double elastic straps and once again, pull them forward simultaneously, to be secured on top of the central elastic. In some cases the elastic straps may be secured above or below the middle of the Brace. This would depend on individual problems and consultation with your therapist is recommended.
