Click here to view the full range of Hoist Slings. WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR? This sling is suitable for someone who is doing walking rehab. BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Use a hoist with a boom that can raise higher than the person’s head when they are standing. Keep the hoist’s side legs as wide apart as possible and ensure the brakes are off. Maintain only about 20cm distance between the top of the person’s head and the hanger bar. Preferably fit the Walking Sling when the person is standing for accurate size adjustment and easier access. It can also be fitted when the person is sitting down, but readjustment of the belt might be needed after they stand up. The double hook & loop tape fastening should be tightly secured around the waist, NOT under the arms. Fasten the webbing waist belt over the hook & loop tape fastening. Place the rear hoist straps onto the hoist hanger bar Hooks. Position the groin straps under the groin to avoid entrapment for male Patients. Loop the groin straps onto the front hoist straps for a taut, but not tight, fitting. Place the front hoist straps onto the hanger bar hooks. When the person is about to stand up, start raising the hoist to prevent head hitting the hanger bar. WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT MADE FROM? Nylon, webbing, plastic buckle, hook and loop tape.
