ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Bed Heel Elevator is foam block with a cover. It is used to hold the heel off the bed to help prevent bed sores from having pressure on the heel. The foam under the calf is cut with convolutions, to help blood flow. Two covers are available: Sewn Heat-Sealed, which can be more easily wiped clean for infection control. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? The Bed Heel Elevator is suitable for people at risk of pressure sores on the heels, or to help with the treatment of pressure sores. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Place the product under the leg as required. Two Bed Heel Elevators can be used at the same time for each leg. Carers can move the products slightly from time to time to also help with blood flow. PRODUCT MATERIALS Foam, Nylon, Loop Tape.
