ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Speculum Examination Wedge is a 100% Heat Sealed wedge that helps lift the pelvis up to make a pap smear examination easier. There are special air reservoirs on both sides of the wedge, that will fill with air when the patient’s weight is on the wedge. Without these the Heat Sealed seams would burst when the patient’s weight is on the wedge. The reservoirs are covered under a Pelican patent application. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? Suitable for use by patients who are having a pap smear. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Place the Wedge on an examination bed or examination table to use. Wipe the medical grade Wipeable Material clean between patients. PRODUCT MATERIALS Soft and firm Foam, Heat Sealed Wipeable Material.
