DescriptionChauvin Arnoux CA1227 Thermo-AnemometerProduct Details:The Chauvin Arnoux CA1227 Thermo-Anemometer can measure air temperature and air flow velocity. It measures air temperature from -20˚C to 50˚C with ±0.8˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution whilst the air flow velocity measurement range goes from 0.25m/s to 35m/s with a maximum resolution of 0.01m/s and accuracy of ±3%. Readings are taken via a detachable 8mm vane probe which offers maximum flexibility during inspections.The measurement of air flow velocity also enables the anemometer to calculate volume flow rate from 0 to 2999m3/h. All the user needs to do is enter the area of the ventilation outlet before commencing measurement so that the calculation can take place.Readings for all three parameters are shown on the Chauvin Arnoux CA1227’s backlit digital display which is capable of displaying two values simultaneously. A data hold function freezes the current reading on screen and the anemometer also shows minimum, maximum and average readings.The Chauvin Arnoux CA1227’s MAP function allows the user to chart air flow throughout a room and there is also an internal memory which has enough space for one million measurements. A free software package can be downloaded from the Chauvin Arnoux website to facilitate data transfer and create reports. The anemometer has both USB and Bluetooth interfaces for connected or wireless data transfer. Readings can be saved manually or according to a pre-set programme for longer term monitoring.A battery life of 200 hours or 8 days (with a 15-minute measurement rate) means that the Chauvin Arnoux CA1227 is suitable for long-term monitoring.
