Ruger RU-R Rimfire .22 & .17 (14oz-2.5lb)

From a performance standpoint, this is a 5 Star product. Installation was a 4 Star. I have an older All Weather M77/17 HMR with a factory laminate stock. Install is easy enough but the safety adjustment screw was too long. It contacted the inside edge of the wood stock so the trigger would not operate after installing it into the stock. After figuring this out, I cut some length off the safety adjustment screw with a small Dremel wheel, reblued the screw and rust proofed it. Maybe my gun was an anomaly or it is the laminate stock possibly. But what an outstanding improvement though. Before install, my trigger pull was 3lb 11oz and after install, I was able to set the pull at an average of 1lb 13oz. Very crisp break and no noticeable travel. The sear surface is nicely polished as well. This trigger really makes Ruger’s factory trigger look bad. I thought it was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. This is a good looking trigger, polished sear surface, screw adjustable poundage screw and improve springdesign. Well done.
